Biography
Daniel Armanino is a Lecturer in the Sociology Program at CSU Channel Islands. Prior to coming to CI, Daniel earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara (2016); M.A.in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago (2006); and B.A. in Anthropology from Humboldt State University (2000).
Daniel’s areas of specialization are social theory, political sociology, organizations and culture. Daniel’s current research interests are in the areas of globalization especially as they pertain to the fields of global civil society, economy, and governance. These interests are driven by a strong devotion to theoretical modeling and exploration.
